Chicken Little
Tonight was the night of the premiere. We got there about an hour early and there was a line. Eric secured us a place in line and we waited. As we read our ticket we noticed that just because you have the ticket you are not guaranteed to get in to the movie. Our prize didn't seem like much of a prize. Well we held our breath as the guy came by counting. The line started moving and we got closer and closer to the door. As we got to the front we checked the movie times for Wallace and Gromit because we thought we were cutting it close. Closer and closer we got till finally.......we're IN! Yahoo! We made it. We got into the theater to get our seats and there were about 100 seats reserved for Disney people. There were probably 6 people total in these seats and they probably weren't from Disney. Well the movie started and as I'm sure most of you know it's a Disney movie so no mother figure in the movie. (this by the way really ticks me off about Disney!) Well about 20 minutes into the movie Paige starts crying and pretty much didn't stop till the credits were rolling. The only thing the movie had going for it was the cute little chicken character. For those of you who don't know what it's about it's basically about a little chicken who's Dad doesn't really believe in him then a big alien invasion. So you see where the tears are coming from with Paige. First she feels sorry for the little chicken then she is scared by the invasion. All I can say is I'm glad we didn't pay money to see it:(

Ahh, I can sort of relate. I'm not taking Ryan back to the movies until he's 11 after our Madagascar fiasco. I never noticed that about Disney movies before...but you're right about the mother figure! Very weird!
