Scary....

Yesterday, Paige came home from school saying, "Mommy, today at school we did a lock down drill." I knew what she was talking about but part of me didn't want to know. She continued telling me what the drill was about and what they would do if bad people came into their school (which I will leave out just in case there is some freak reading this!) but it sounds like a good plan I just hope they never have to use it. It's great I guess that they are learning how to stay safe but man what a knot it put in my stomach. That is not a practice we did when I was in elementary school. Then again we didn't have cell phones in elementary school either!
