Rain...

They say we are having the worst storm in 2 years. We are expecting 10 inches of rain and hurricane force winds. The winds are pretty strong and here in this new house we are surrounded trees! There are lots of branches in the roads and lots of puddles. I took a few pictures with my computer of the creek in the back of our house. There not that great but you can see the volume of water, usually the creek is a trickling of water. I'm thinking if the kids get bored with being inside I may take them white water rafting.





The good thing is we park in the garage so I can load the kids in and head out to some place with a drive thru for lunch or one of the local grocery stores that has a parking garage. That is only in emergency and by emergency I mean if these kiddos are driving me crazy! Keep your fingers crossed for me that we don't lose our power! My movies and microwave popcorn that I have planned for them this afternoon won't work if we don't have power!
