Never a dull moment....

We were very busy today. First the cleaner showed up for our first cleaning. Yeah, I finally convinced Eric we needed someone. Well I didin't really convince him but now that he's seen what they've done. He's convinced! So now we have to be out of the house and we are trying to think of something to do that doesn't involve being outside too much, it was really hot here and that doesn't involve to much energy. Did I mention Eric has been sick since Monday? We headed to IKEA. Paige's favorite place. The like to pretend in EVERY different room so we figured that would give Eric plenty of time to rest. After a succesful trip we decided to drive by our house to see if the cleaners were done. They weren't and it was 4 hours later. I guess the place was dirty. At 3 we took the kids over to our friends house. We do a kid swap with them. Once a month we swap kids so we can have a date afternoon. In the meantime I had convinced Eric to let me take him to the ER. Did I mention he's been sick all week! So we drop the kids off and Eric and I head out for our date. Our date in the ER! Which I have to say was kind of fun. Lots of people watching, one on one conversation with my husband, and the hospital smell. I love the hospital smell. After 3.5 hours, some blood tests, chest x-rays, an iv we were able to leave the ER with a diagnosis of a bronchial infection. Everyone is now home and it's time to drug Daddy and put him to bed.
