Report card time....
Paige got her report card today. She did very well. The grades are 1-4 with 4 being the highest. She got mostly 3's with a couple of 2's thrown in. One of her 2's was in *participates in group discussions*. Eric and I read that and at the same time we both said, "I don't like to do that either". I guess we better start doing that more to get her more comfortable too. Her teacher also had great things to say about her. Here are her comments...
*Paige is a wonderful girl and a pleasure to work with. She is mature for her age. She always follows classroom
rules and cooperates with her peers. Paige is good at what ever she tries. She is doing very well in language
arts. She is beginning to write short vowel words from dictation. Paige is transferring this skill to Writer's Work-
shop. She is using phonetic sounds to write sentences. This is excellent progress for this time of year. Paige is
off to a fantastic start in kindergarten.*
Good job, Paigee! (the way she signs her name now) We love you!
